Hey there!

My name is Joy Breitkreutz (pronounced Brite-krites). I am married to my best friend, whom I have loved since I was seventeen, and we have been blessed with two beautiful little boys. I love sparkly things, the color pink and movie theatre popcorn. I love heart to heart talks and laughing until you can hardly breathe. I am a total sap and a hopeless romantic, I cry at nearly every wedding I attend. Being able to not only witness the love between people, but also be able to document it, is an incredible honor to me. To give people tangible memories, through photographs gives me an incredible amount of joy!

My most favorite thing and goal in photography is documenting real people in real moments. You know when you see a picture of yourself and it doesn't even look like you, because you were just giving a super forced smile or trying to pose the way someone told you to? Well, that is exactly the thing I try to avoid. My approach is to get to know YOU, make you as comfortable as possible and guide you along as I shoot authentic moments of you just being yourself with the one or ones you love...
